Zeba Awarded New Turfcare Product of the Year. – Harrogate Jan 25, 2007

Zeba receives the New Turfcare Product of the Year Award at the British Turf Management Exhibition BTME Harrogate.

The award is based on commendations from leading suppliers of turf machinery and equipment to the turfcare industry, and the judging panel included John Pemberton, chief executive of BIGGA (British and International Golf Greenkeepers Association), Geoff Webb, chief executive of IOG (Institute of Groundsmanship) and Chris Biddle, editor Turf Professional.

Commenting, Chris Biddle said “The quality of the nominees for this year’s award illustrates how important are the skills of professional turfcare managers in providing consistent and high standards of playing surfaces for sport across the seasons”.

Zeba was nominated for the award by British Seed Houses (BSH), the distributor of Zeba in the UK for the turf marketplace. Richard Brown of BSH indicated that they nominated Zeba as it fits well into their approach to growing good healthy turf. “We are committed to helping turf professionals grow and maintain strong healthy swards through breeding, and up to the minute innovations. Awards are given to the Turf Project, the Turf Professional and Products of the year. Zeba is in excellent company for this year’s awards alongside the renewed Ascot Racecourse, a £200 million redevelopment of the racecourse which was awarded the Project of the year prize.
